Yellowjackets & WDR Big Band - Live Cologne, Germany - 1995

This concert held in Cologne , Germany sounded so fresh. It gives a strong representation of Yellowjackets jazzfusion music. Great arrangements, compositions, incredible playing and flawless production make this a fantastic concert with the WDR Orchestra conducted by Vince Mendoza - a prolific composer. The presence of Mr. Slick - Le Nguyen - guitar production sometimes has the power to ruin something that could have been great, but this guy has his way of putting all the tunes into the right place. Incredibly, very uncanny playing!

The production of the group is shown to be the greate
st tight jazz ensemble. The concert ran for an hour and really gives a straight out definition of what Jazzfusion with a philharmonic orchestra sound like. Kick Ass Jazz!
